Requirements of Psi Beta
Psi Beta is a national community college honor society in psychology. All of these requirements must be met in order to become an official member.

Provisional Status
Requirements
- You have completed a college level psychology course with a grade of B or higher.
- You have completed 12 units of college coursework with a cumulative college GPA of 3.25 or higher, or your GPA is within the top 35% of GPAs at your college.
- You have an interest in psychology.
- You have good standing in the community.
- You pay a $50 one time, lifetime fee.

Provisional Status
- If you are interested in becoming a member of Psi Beta but do not meet one of these requirements you might qualify as a provisional member. Even though you will not be officially recognized by Psi Beta, you will still be able to take part in the research and develop valuable research skills and knowledge.
